No enteramente iguales, pero muy parecidos ciertamente, son los
gallegos Bodon, Bodi, Bodero, Buturra, Caletes, Camalo, Clutaius, a
los de las referidas tierras Bodenus, Bodougenus, Caleti, Camaro, Cu
talus. Parecido al Reburrus, tan frecuente en Galicia, fueron as?mismo
frecuentes entre nosotros Lobesus, Lobesa, Lovessus, Lubi?nus, Lobatus,
que a?n hoy dura, y en el museo brit?nico se guarda un barro, en que
se lee Lobi, genitivo evidentemente de Lobus, fuente y ra?z de nuestros
Lobesus y Lobatus. Y es adem?s de notar, que al lado de Lovessa y Lo
batus, abundaron aqu? Lupus, Lupa, Lupulus y Lupina y Lubianus; y
Lupus y Lupa y Lupula y Lupinus, se hallan as?mismo en las referidas
regiones inglesas: Crecen aqu? y all? los Lupus al lado de los Lovatos.
Hubo aqu? un nombre que Ilam? mucho mi atenci?n, cuando por pri
mera vez lo lei. Vean mis lectores lo que dice aquella piedra, que tiene

Pues este Pintameus tiene and tambi?n su correspondiente, pues
uno de aquellos personajes se 1181136 Pinta, origen y parte indudable de
nuestro Pintameus, que para m?s evidente identidad, un punto las di
vide en Ia piedra (1), como divide la nuestra.
Y no tiene esto tampoco nada que ver con los historiadores fabu
losos. Son hechos patentes e indudables, hechos que 110 ver?amos, si
nada hubiera tenido que ver la poblaci?n gallega y la que habit? en
muy remotos dias las islas de Inglaterra e Irlanda. Es imposible que
aqu? y all? se designasen las personas con los mismos nombres, si nin
guna relaci?n hubieran tenido las unas con las otras. En Is Am?rica
espa?ola dejaron los espa?oles sus nombres y apellidos, pero en In que
colonizaron los ingleses, dejaron ellos los suyos, y en ninguna de ellas
se hubieran hallado tales palabras, si ni ellos ni nuestros padres hubie
ran puesto all? su pie jam?s.

torio vivid 20 aims, y Variolo vivid 15. Valerio Vindiciano puso esta memoria a su esposa y a
sus hijos. En la gallega Pinta es un hombre, en la inglesa una mujer.
